DECOTRON owner Shane Kiel has been involved in design, industrial art and sign making since the age of 13.  Studying the iconic eras of architecture, typography and design trends has lead to award winning results. Whether its an artistic structure, public art, sign design, a beer tap handle, a company logo or architectural elements, Shane's concepts have the artistic authenticity and creativity that a good portion of the sign industry is missing.  His extensive knowledge of modern materials and manufacturing disciplines are incorporated in all projects. Shane's design always considers how it will be built and what manufacturing techniques will best suit your project.  Using a variety of materials, DECOTRON will guide you through your project's best practices with an eye toward eco-friendly products.

Whether it's designing simple to complex structures, pole signs, monument signs, unique lobby interiors, TV and commercial sets, typography, lighting integration, wall art, decor, modern doors, mailboxes, or printed advertisements your project will have the authentic style of a knowledgable design wizard who knows the history of cool and applies it to all his creations.  One look through Shane's portfolio will show you what he's capable of designing and making.  He merges the golden ratio with Art Deco, Googie, and Tron within his designs.  He works best with unusual materials and projects.  For example, he recently created a film prop using 3-D printing and selenite crystals, made the thinnest ever double sided illuminated sign, and designed light up elevator buttons at the Ritz-Carlton.  The sky really is the limit for your project and ideas with Shane Kiel at the helm.

We have designed signs some of which we have no part in the manufacturing process. We can be utilized for our unique concepts or even if you’d prefer to be more integrated in the building process, If you have an idea or even no clue and you just have a logo, we can help generate a cool concept for you to use, set up the cut files and the blue prints, mounting etc.
